Mesut Ozil speaks about his relationship with Unai Emery
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has indicated that he is very happy at the north London club and holds a good relationship with new head coach Unai Emery.
Earlier last month, there had been the suggestion of a rift between Ozil and Emery but the latter was forced to deny the claims after the West Ham United game which the midfielder missed through an illness.
Since then, there has been the surprise speculation linking Ozil with a January move to Fenerbahce but the midfielder has now appeared to refute the claims by stressing that he is content at the Capital outfit.
"I am very happy to play for Arsenal and especially for the new coach," Ozil told BBC Sport at full time. "He knows what he wants and the team accepts that, we have a good relationship."
Ozil made his 200th appearance for the Gunners during this afternoon's league clash at Newcastle United and he made sure to leave a mark by scoring the defining goal in the 2-1 triumph.
