Maurizio Sarri reacts to Eden Hazard's masterclass against Cardiff City
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri hailed Eden Hazard as the best player in Europe after he bagged a match-winning hat-trick against Cardiff City on Saturday.
The hosts received a surprise after the Bluebirds took an early lead at Stamford Bridge but they managed to pull things back before the break with Hazard combining with Olivier Giroud for both of his goals.
Thereafter, Hazard bagged his first hat-trick for the west London side since 2014 through the penalty spot in the 80th minute before Willian completed the scoring.
Speaking after the game, Sarri was full of praise for Hazard and believes the attacker is the best in Europe on current form, he said: "I thought he was one of the best players in Europe, but now I change my mind. He is the best."
Hazard has been in sparkling form for the Blues since the start of the season and he has contributed either a goal or an assist in each of the first five Premier League matches.
The Belgian is presently the top-scorer in the Premier League with five goals and aside from this, he has contributed a couple of assists in the Blues' perfect start to the season.
