Villa want Bafetimbi Gomis
Aston Villa have joined Newcastle in the hunt for £8 million rated St. Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis. Gomis has been in superb form this year in Ligue 1.
Bafetimbi Gomis has scored 10 goals in 24 games for the French minnows, and the 22 year old French youth international has shown some talents in Ligue 1 that has seen many draw comparisons between Gomis and Didier Drogba.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also known to be an admirer of the target man, and reports of £12 million offers may be a little far fetched as initally St. Etienne were reportedly looking for just £4 million for Gomis.
