Arsenal scout Rennes youngster
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Rennes youngster Ismaila Sarr with a view to a possible move, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 20-year-old Senegal international was a part of his country's squad that was knocked out of the Russia World Cup based on the fair play rule and has been nominated for the Golden Boy award in Europe.
The Ligue 1 winger has been likened to Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and scored a great goal in Rennes' Europa League clash with Czech Republic side FK Jablonec last Thursday.
Italian side Inter Milan are also interested in the player who is valued at £20m, but the Ligue 1 side have ruled out a move in January.
Last season, he made 24 Ligue 1 appearances for Rennes, scoring five times and providing three assists. He has scored twice in six league games this season.
After a slow start to the season, Arsenal have bounced back to win their last five games, and will face Brentford in the Third Round of the League Cup on Wednesday.
