Ashley Young to consider Manchester United exit?

Ashley Young will reportedly consider parting ways with Manchester United next summer if he continues to struggle for regular gametime under Jose Mourinho.

The England international has lost his Premier League spot to left-back Luke Shaw since the season started and this may not change in the near future with the latter making a bright start to proceedings.

According to ESPN, Young has just 10 months left on his existing deal with United and he is prepared to pursue a fresh challenge with an overseas club, should he remain an understudy to Shaw.

Young is currently said to be in negotiations over a possible extension with the Old Trafford club but the final decision is likely to be made only during the backend of the season based on his gametime.

The former Aston Villa man has started just two of United's seven league games this term - the most recent one being at Watford where he had replaced Luke Shaw, who was rested as a precaution after a minor head injury.
