Sheffield Wednesday target Chelsea defender

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is a target for Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, according to the Sun.
The Englishman recently revealed he might leave the Blues in January if he doesn't get regular playing time.
So far, he has made only one appearance for Maurizio Sarri this season. He came on as a substitute for Antonio Rudiger after he sustained an injury in the Blues' last encounter with West Ham over the weekend.
With Rudiger expected back soon, it is unlikely that Cahill will continue playing for Chelsea on a regular basis.
A number of Premier League clubs are interested in Cahill, including Aston Villa who are 13th in the Championship.
Cahill reportedly wants to remain in the Premier League if he eventually decides to leave Chelsea, effectively ruling out a move to Wednesday or Villa.
Manchester United boss Mourinho is said to be a fan of Cahill and will keep tabs on him ahead of the January transfer window.
United had been linked with the central defender in the last transfer window after he raised doubts about his Chelsea future.
