Seaman: More United fans on Jose's side than Pogba's

Jose Mourinho news

Former England international David Seaman has said that more Manchester United fans are on the side Jose Mourinho than midfielder Paul Pogba, amid reports of a crisis between the pair.

The relationship between the two is reportedly at an all-time low with the United boss stripping him of his vice-Captainship prior to the Old Trafford side's exit in the Carabao Cup after a penalty loss to Derby County.

This is coming after the World Cup winner appeared to be criticising Mourinho's style after United's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend.

“Look at how many trophies he’s won,” Seaman said on talkSPORT, Manchester Evening News reports. “It’s a hard decision. I think Manchester United fans are getting more on Jose’s side than Pogba’s.”

With the manner in which events are unfolding between Jose and Pogba at United, it is looking increasingly likely that one of the two will leave in less than a year.

Knowing United where a player is not bigger than the club, Pogba may be the victim, but results on the pitch have to improve for Mourinho to be safe with the Portuguese insisting there is no problem between himself and the midfielder.
