French club shortlists former Manchester United boss for managerial role
French club Nantes have shortlisted former Manchester United manager David Moyes to become their new coach, the Daily Mirror reports.
Nantes are currently 19th on the Ligue 1 table and could sack boss Miguel Cardoso with the club stuttering. The French side have won once and drawn twice in their opening seven Ligue 1 games this season.
The former Everton and West Ham United boss could be brought in to save the club from a possible relegation, just like he did for the Hammers last season.
He has been out of a coaching job since he was relieved of his duties at West Ham at the end of last season, but has been linked with the managerial role of the USA senior national football team.
The former Real Sociedad boss recently revealed that would consider the US job should he be approached by the North American country.
It remains to be seen where the Scotsman will go, but which ever team gets him, they will have an experienced manager in their side.
