Juventus refuse to be drawn into Pogba transfer talk

Juventus sporting director has refused to be drawn into discussions about a possible move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Amid problems with manager Jose Mourinho, the former Juventus midfielder is reportedly eager to leave Old Trafford, but with the transfer window closed and United not willing to sell in January, the Frenchman could leave next summer.

He has been linked with a return back to the Serie A champions, but the club's sporting director is keeping quiet about the issue.

He said, The Sun reports: “He is a Manchester United player. As long as he remains a Manchester United player, it’s best that I don’t talk about players at other clubs.”

Barcelona are reportedly keen on the midfielder, but are only willing to meet half of United's £200m valuation.

Since the last summer transfer window, the La Liga champions have been keeping tabs on the player and are set to continue as he goes further into his third season in his second spell at Old Trafford.
