Ryan Giggs offers Manchester United advice on Mourinho's future
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has urged the Red Devils to opt against the dismissal of head coach Jose Mourinho following their average start to the season.
The Mancunian giants have found themselves in an unchanted territory with three defeats from their opening seven league games whilst also being eliminated from the League Cup in the third round.
As such, there has been the speculation that Mourinho could be axed from his position in the forthcoming weeks but Giggs has warned the club against doing so as they could go backwards thereafter.
"They're going through a tough time at the moment. I said that last time, where do they go? Change now and you'll be in the same position in a year or two years quite possibly. I believe he should keep his job," he told Sky Sports News.
United are currently in a run of four matches without a victory across all competitions but they should fancy ending the streak against Newcastle United whom they host at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Magpies are one of just three clubs without a league win since the season started and Mourinho would certainly risk being sacked, if they are outclassed by the Tyneside outfit.
