West Ham want Sidwell
West Ham boss Alan Curbishley is considering a move for Chelsea's unsettled midfielder Steven Sidwell. Wigan and Newcastle have also been linked with a move for Sidwell.
The former Arsenal midfielder was signed by Jose Mourinho and has found his opportunities very limited under Avram Grant at Chelsea.
Sidwell is now on the look out for another opportunity elsewhere and there are offers on the table - and Sidwell is keen to stay in London.
Arsene Wenger too is a known admirer of Sidwell - one of his former players - and news that West Ham are making an offer may see the Frenchman making a similar offer for Sidwell.
