Ruben Loftus-Cheek to seek Chelsea exit in January?

Loftus-Cheek could push for winter Chelsea exit

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek may seek a fresh move during the winter transfer window after failing to establish himself as a regular under Maurizio Sarri.

The England international enjoyed a strong season at Crystal Palace last season, and his performances saw him rewarded with a spot in Gareth Southgate's squad for the summer World Cup.

However, the 22-year-old has since managed under 100 minutes across all competitions for the Blues and this has witnessed him being dropped for the internationals this month.

According to the Daily Mail, Loftus-Cheek is said to regret the decision to fight for his position at the Bridge and he could seek regular first-team football elsewhere in January.

Former club Crystal Palace and Everton are said to be among the leading contenders to pursue a temporary deal for the midfielder but he could yet receive a permanent move with Arsenal interested.

The Gunners are seeking a replacement for contract rebel Aaron Ramsey this winter and Loftus-Cheek is among those in consideration to replace the Welshman at the Emirates Stadium.
