Leeds United chasing Juan Foyth from Spurs

Leeds United are hopeful that a deal for defender Juan Foyth can be agreed in the January transfer window. The talented centre-back is seeking a move away from White Hart Lane and it is understood that the Elland Road outfit could make a £4.5 million transfer bid for the Argentinian defender.
Foyth, who arrived at Spurs amongst much fanfare but has so far yet to force his way in to Tottenham's first-team squad, is believed to be frustrated at the club and ready to quit the club in search of regular football.
Argentinian manager Marcelo Bielsa, now Leeds manager, wants to raid Tottenham to sign fellow countryman Foyth for a cut price fee.
It is understood that Spurs are open to letting the player leave on a temporary basis but manager Mauricio Pochettino still has high hopes for the defender coming through the ranks and forcing his way into the club's first-team side.
Foyth has yet to have demonstrated why he would be an important player for Tottenham and is untested at the highest level, but is considered a hot prospect for the future by the club.
