Rabiot closing in on a new PSG deal amid Liverpool rumours

According to Calcio Mercato, Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot is getting closer to signing a new deal at PSG. The French midfielder has been linked to Liverpool for some time now, but it looks like he could be staying at the current Ligue 1 Champions for some years to come.
His contract is up at the end of the current season, which means PSG will have to tie him down quickly, or someone could snap him up on a pre-contract in January.
Despite bringing in Naby Keita and Fabinho, Liverpool are looking for some midfield reinforcement, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain suffering a long-term injury; Adam Lallana being injury prone and James Milner getting older and older.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has faith in Rabiot, with the 23-year-old midfielder one of the hottest prospects in European football. This and PSG’s financial stature will be massive factors in Rabiot’s decision to either stay at PSG or go to any clubs interested.
As well as Liverpool, other clubs are interested in Rabiot services such as AC Milan, Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona.
