Alexis Sanchez heading for Ligue 1 move?

Chile international Alexis Sanchez could reportedly push for a winter exit from Manchester United after failing to settle with the club since his switch from Arsenal.

Sanchez was the Premier League's marquee signing during the last winter transfer window after he joined the Red Devils in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan head to the Emirates Stadium.

However, he has since struggled to settle with the Old Trafford outfit and this has hampered his showing with just four goals coming off 26 appearances across all competitions.

According to The Mirror, Sanchez is supposedly desperate to make the move to Paris Saint-Germain, who are among the leading contenders to acquire his signature.

It is added that the French champions would be prepared to match his current £500,000-a-week wages which has certainly posed a stumbling block for many other admirers.

Sanchez missed the midweek Champions League meeting versus Juventus with a groin injury and the same is expected to keep him out of the matchday squad for the weekend league clash against Everton.
