Belgium international Steven Defour has suggested that Chelsea may find it difficult to keep Eden Hazard at the club, should Real Madrid come forward for his services in the near future.

The 27-year-old has started the season in a sublime fashion with eight goals and three assists across all competitions but his future remains a talking point with his Blues contract due to expire at the end of next season.

Amidst this, a number of players and pundits have given their opinion on the situation and Defour, who has played with Hazard for Belgium feels his compatriot will move on at some point.

"If you are an English player playing for a top club in England, that might be good for you. Since Eden was a little boy, he has dreamed about playing for Real Madrid and at some point when you get the opportunity you might take it," he said.

Defour made the starting lineup for Burnley during the recent Premier League meeting versus Chelsea but he was unable to prevent his team from suffering a thumping 4-0 defeat at Turf Moor.
