Zlatan wanted at Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly determined to land Los Angeles Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The former Sweden international only joined Galaxy from Manchester United in March but he has since been in fine form with 22 goals and seven assists contributed from just 26 MLS appearances.

As such, he has been touted for a potential loan return to Europe in the New Year and according to BeIN Sports, Perez is said to want Ibrahimovic at the Bernabeu.

Real have struggled to score on a regular basis since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club during the summer and Ibrahimovic is being seen as a short-term solution with both Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema misfiring.

Of late, Ibrahimovic was touted for a potential winter return to Manchester United but the speculation has been dismissed by Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho earlier in the week.
