Liverpool, Arsenal to miss out on Piotr Zielinkski?
Liverpool and Arsenal could be hampered in their pursuit of Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who appears in line for a new contract with the Serie A club.
The Premier League giants have been regularly linked with the Poland international over the past year amid his affordable release clause of around £60m.
As such, there have been suggestions that the pair could retain their interest at the turn of the year but according to The Express, Napoli are likely to hand him a fresh deal to ward off any potential interest.
Zielinski has been one of the club's in-form players alongside Lorenzo Insigne during the early part of the campaign and the Naples outfit are said to have plans in place to reward him.
The Pole's current deal only expires in the summer of 2021 but the club are keen to offer him a wage increase in a new contract whilst also increasing the valuation of his escape clause.
