Tottenham Hotspur plan swoop for AS Roma forward
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on acquiring the signature of Roma forward Edin Dzeko before the close of the winter transfer window.
The north London side have recently suffered a major blow in the attack front with Harry Kane sustained until early March after damaging his ankle ligaments.
Moreover, they are also without Heung-min Son for the short-term due to his involvement with South Korea at the Asian Cup and this has left them light in the final third.
According to La Repubblica, Mauricio Pochettino has set his sights on acquiring the signature of Dzeko, who has netted seven goals for the Giallorossi this term.
The Bosnian has prior experience in the Premier League with Manchester City and this has been highlighted as one of the prime factors behind Spurs considering a move for the marksman.
Aside from Spurs, West Ham United have also been linked with a move for Dzeko as they ponder over the potential sale of Marko Arnautovic, who is attracting interest from the Chinese Super League.
