Arsenal willing to pay £19.2m for Spanish midfielder?
Arsenal are reportedly willing to agree on an overall package of £19.2m in order to secure the signature of Denis Suarez from Barcelona.
The Gunners have been locked in talks for the Spaniard since the start of the month but they have not quite found the breakthrough for an initial loan deal.
However, according to The Mirror, the club remain optimistic of pushing through the deal and they are prepared to offer an initial £1.7m for a five-month loan before signing him permanently for £17.5m next summer.
Suarez has been earmarked as the prime target for Unai Emery since the beginning of the winter transfer window and reports have previously suggested that the midfielder favours the switch.
The Spaniard has previously worked together with Emery during their time together at Sevilla between 2014 and 2015 and a reunion appears on the cards with the manager wanting to add more competition for places.
