Real Madrid prepared to offer Welsh attacker in Hazard deal?
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to offer Gareth Bale in a part-exchange deal to lure Eden Hazard from Chelsea at the end of the campaign.
Hazard has just 16 months remaining on his existing deal with the west London giants and reports have indicated that the Blues are likely to sanction his sale unless a renewal is agreed by the summer.
According to Marca, the European champions are not prepared to pay excessive fees in order to pursue Hazard from the Premier League giants and they are planning to utilise Bale as a bargaining took in the discussions.
Chelsea are currently said to value Hazard at more than £100m but that price could be reduced partly, should they remain interested in pursuing Bale in a player-plus-cash move.
Hazard is expected to feature for the Blues this weekend where they are scheduled to face Manchester City in the final of the League Cup. Chelsea remain underdogs for the clash after the 6-0 thrashing at the Etihad earlier this month.
