Harry Kane speaks on Tottenham's title credentials after Burnley loss
England international Harry Kane has said that Tottenham Hotspur still have the chance of challenging for the Premier League crown despite a shock 2-1 defeat at Burnley over the weekend.
The striker made his injury comeback after nearly six weeks on Saturday and he made a mark by scoring the equaliser shortly after the hour mark.
However, that was not sufficient to guide his team towards the victory mark after Ashley Barnes helped the Clarets secure their maiden win over Spurs since 2010.
Speaking after the game, Kane said that he is unperturbed by the opinion of others on the title race and Spurs need to concentrate on their games to enhance their silverware prospects.
"People will probably say now it's a two-horse race but that's not our problem. All we can do is take care of ourselves. Today was disappointing but we'll look to bounce back as quickly as possible," he told Sky Sports.
Spurs are presently six points behind Liverpool at the top of the standings and they will be hoping to maintain the gap at the least with tricky games against Chelsea and Arsenal in the current week.
