Real Madrid prioritise the signing of Chelsea attacker
Real Madrid have reportedly prioritised the signing of Eden Hazard from Chelsea in the summer as they seek to remain competitive with Barcelona at the top of the standings.
The European champions have been constantly linked with the Belgium international over the past year and his future now remains uncertain with his Blues contract expires in 16 months' time.
According to Standard Sport, the Spanish giants have earmarked Hazard as their main target for the summer and prioritise him over the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Both Neymar and Mbappe have been linked with the Bernabeu outfit over the past six months but it appears that Les Parisiens' reluctance to sell has switched their attention towards Hazard.
Chelsea have recently been sanctioned with a two-window transfer ban but they could delay the punishment beyond the summer with the help of an appeal.
This could pave the way for Hazard to pursue his dream move to Los Blancos, given the Blues will consider selling him as he enters the final year of his contract.
