Manchester United striker wants to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo
Belgium international Romelu Lukaku is said to favour a move to Juventus to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, should Manchester United decide to part ways with him.
The 25-year-old has endured a below-par second season with the Red Devils and he has netted just nine times in 33 appearances for the club across all competitions.
According to The Sun, the Mancunian giants are likely to consider his sale during the summer with the club already making their move to pursue a replacement.
In this case, Lukaku is understood to prefer a move to former admirers Juventus, where he would get the opportunity to link up with ex-United star Ronaldo.
Lukaku had been the first-choice striker with Jose Mourinho at the helm but the Portuguese's sacking has meant that he is not guaranteed a starting role when everyone is fit within the squad.
Elsewhere, Juventus are not actively looking into forward recruits for the summer but the possible departure of Paulo Dybala may witness them enter the transfer market.
