Zinedine Zidane wants Chelsea midfielder as his first summer signing
Zinedine Zidane has reportedly set his sights of luring Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante to Real Madrid when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The Frenchman was recently reappointed as the club's head coach following their failures under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, and the 46-year-old is now expected to orchestrate the summer spending spree.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Zidane has already notified his targets to the club's hierarchy and this includes the name of Kante, who has been one of the Premier League's most consistent performers.
Aside from Kante, Hazard continues to remain another player on the radar of Zidane with the Champions League-winning manager said to admire the attacker's talents from his time at Lille.
Hazard has previously talked up the opportunity of playing under Zidane and the prospect of the same happening at Los Blancos next term could be hard to turn down for the Belgian despite the Blues' recent transfer ban.
