Paris Saint-Germain to swoop for Jose Mourinho?
Former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly being lined up as the next head coach of Paris Saint-Germain after missing out on the Real Madrid role.
The 56-year-old had opened the possibility of rejoining the reigning European champions earlier last week, but his wish has gone unfulfilled after Los Blancos chose to re-sign Zinedine Zidane for the managerial role.
According to The Sun, the Portuguese tactician could still return to management with an elite European club next season with Les Parisiens likely to make an approach in the summer.
Thomas Tuchel is currently holding the managerial position with Les Parisiens, but his position is expected to be assessed after failing to meet the club's minimal ambition of reaching the semi-final of the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has previously talked up the opportunity of managing Paris Saint-Germain during his time at Old Trafford and he may have no second thoughts of taking charge of the club when the season concludes.
