Guedes back on United radar

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a £51m move to acquire the signature of Goncalo Guedes from Valencia at the end of the campaign.

The Portugal international joined the La Liga side from Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent basis last summer, and he has since managed the single goal in 15 league appearances after being interrupted by a troublesome groin issue.

According to Don Balon, super-agent Jorge Mendes want Guedes to pursue a bigger challenge in the summer and has approached Barcelona and Real Madrid regarding the summer.

The reports add that neither side seem interested in signing the attacker, though the Red Devils remain long-term admirers and could be willing to spend around £51m to lure him from the Mestalla.

Guedes recently salvaged Valencia's Europa League campaign after he scored a late injury time goal against Krasnodar on the road. The strike enabled Los Che reach the quarter-finals with a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.
