Juventus keen to swoop for Eriksen

Serie A holders Juventus have reportedly joined the race to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

The Denmark international has been with Spurs for the past five-and-a-half seasons but his future remains uncertain with his contract expiring in 15 months' time.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are planning to make an approach for the former Ajax graduate and this could result in a bidding battle with Real Madrid also keen on the attacker.

Spurs are said to have given up on keeping hold of Eriksen beyond the summer and this has resulted in them placing a £200m price tag on the head of the Danish attacker.

However, they may have to reconsider the asking price ahead of the summer transfer window, given they are keen to avoid losing the playmaker on a Bosman next year.

Eriksen has contributed five goals and nine assists for Spurs in the Premier League this term. Mauricio Pochettino's side are currently third in the league standings.
