Pogba on his way to Real Madrid?

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has confidently told reporters that he would like to make a move for French international midfielder Paul Pogba at some point in the future. Real are set for a summer of rebuilding under Zidane and are expected to make moves for some of Europe's best transfer talent with a budget of over 400 million euros.

Pogba, 26, has been constantly linked with a move to La Liga and the former Juventus man has himself hinted that he would one day like to make the move to Spain.

With Real Madrid's star midfielder Luka Modric heading in to the twilight years of his career, it would make sense for Real to make a move for the Man Utd star Paul Pogba, who has also previously hinted he would like to one day leave Old Trafford for pastures new.

In an interview with Zidane, the Frenchman told reporters: "I know him personally. He brings so much and there are few players who bring as much as he does."

"He's a midfielder who knows how to defend and how to attack. He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him. So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?"
