Chelsea, Manchester United to battle for Barcelona star?
Chelsea and Manchester United could reportedly battle it out for the signature of Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona in the summer.
The Brazil international only joined the Blaugrana from Liverpool in January 2018, but he is already said to be considering his future amid the restricted gametime.
According to The Express, the Red Devils have made an enquiry regarding the playmaker's availability for the summer but they could face stiff competition from Maurizio Sarri's side.
The Blues are currently banned from signing players for the next two transfer bans, but they remain optimistic of freezing the embargo through the Court of Arbitration for Sport, should FIFA reject their appeal.
Coutinho has struggled to produce consistent performances in the Spanish La Liga this term and he has managed just four goals and two assists in 26 appearances.
Out of those, he has featured 10 times off the bench with manager Ernesto Valverde tending to prefer Ousmane Dembele whenever he has been injury-free.
