Antoine Griezmann decides on his club future
Antoine Griezmann has decided to stay put with Atletico Madrid next season rather than pursuing a fresh challenge elsewhere.
The Frenchman has been recently linked with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool amid claims that he is weighing up his future with the Madrid giants.
According to AS, the Frenchman has spoken to the club's hierarchy and informed that he will not force through an exit at the end of the season.
Furthermore, he is said to be excited with the attacking partnership alongside Alvaro Morata, who is expected to join the club on a permanent basis from Chelsea when the campaign concludes.
Griezmann has been with the Capital-based side for the past four-and-a-half seasons where he has 130 goals in 249 appearances for the club. He has more than four years remaining on his current deal which was penned before the World Cup finals last summer.
