Valencia leading the race to sign Arsenal flop?
Valencia are reportedly leading the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, who has recently experienced a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal.
The 25-year-old made the short-term move to the Gunners from the Camp Nou last winter but he managed just six substitute appearances before sustaining a season-ending groin injury.
As such, the Gunners are expected to decline the chance of signing him on a permanent basis but he could still pursuea a fresh challenge away from the Camp Nou, Sport reveals.
The same publication claims that Valencia are leading the hunt to sign the former Manchester City graduate, who has previously made an impression with the likes of Sevilla and Villareal in La Liga.
Suarez has more than two years remaining on his current contract with Barcelona but the Catalan giants are expected to cash in on his services with the aim of boosting their transfer funds for the summer.
Suarez has previously been valued at around £18.5m.
