AC Milan propose player-plus-cash deal to sign Arsenal star

AC Milan are reportedly prepared to include either Franck Kessie or Ricardo Rodriguez as they seek to secure the services of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

The Uruguayan had an impressive debut season with the Gunners last term and he racked a total of 49 appearances with 34 of those coming from the starting lineup.

According to Goal.com, the Rossoneri hold a strong interest in the former Sampdoria man and they are willing to offer either Kessie or Rodriguez in a player-plus-cash deal for the midfielder.

Torreira has previously suggested that he has found it difficult to adapt to life in the English capital but that may not neccesarily impact his future, considering he is still content to play for the side.

As such, a summer departure appears highly unlikely, though reports in the media suggest that the Gunners could be tempted to accept anything around £35m for his sale.

Arsenal are working on a limited £45m budget for the summer and any additional funds would have to be accumulated from the potential sale of unwanted first-team stars.
