Liverpool make transfer decision on Dejan Lovren

Liverpool not looking to sell Lovren

Liverpool have reportedly declined to place an asking price on the head of Dejan Lovren amid the speculated interest from AC Milan.

The centre-back managed just 11 Premier League starts during the 2018/19 campaign due to the competition for places and injuries, and it has recently been suggested that the Reds could part ways with his services.

Amidst this, the Rossoneri have been strongly linked with a move for the Croatia international but Sky Sports News claims that the Reds are not looking to offload the experienced defender.

Lovren has two years remaining on his current deal with the European champions and it is suggested that the Reds are not looking to cash in on his services unless he hands in a transfer request.

The 29-year-old is presently the fourth-choice central defender in the club's ranks with Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez ahead of him in the pecking order. He has amassed 170 appearances for Liverpool to date.
