Fernandes expects Manchester United move

Portugal international Bruno Fernandes is reportedly expecting to seal a move to Manchester United before the close of the English transfer window.

The midfielder has been earmarked as one of the club's prime targets for the summer and reports have previously claimed that the Red Devils have agreed personal terms with the Portuguese through his agent.

According to Correio da Manha, the 24-year-old is a huge admirer of the Red Devils and he has set his sights on joining the club during the ongoing transfer window.

The same publication claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have yet to finalise a transfer fee with Sporting but a formal approach is likely during the forthcoming days.

United have parted ways with the services of Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini in the past six months and they are currently facing concerns regarding the commitment of Paul Pogba.

As such, they are likely to pursue more than one midfielder and Fernandes has been identified as someone, who can add more creativity after contributing a stunning tally of 32 goals and 18 assists for Sporting last term.
