Celtic turn down improved Arsenal bid for Kieran Tierney
Celtic are understood to have turned down a renewed bid from Arsenal for the services of Kieran Tierney.
The north London giants recently came up with a fresh £25m bid for the Scotland international after their opening £15m offer was snubbed by the Hoops.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Hoops are said to have once again rejected the advances, considering they are not pleased with the nature of the transfer proposal.
The Gunners have proposed to settle the transfer sum in the form of installments but the Hoops are understood to want a sizeable amount of cash upfront for the left-sided defender.
Tierney, who is contracted to the Hoops until the summer of 2023, managed just 21 appearances in the Scottish top-flight last season due a hernia problem.
He is currently at the final stage of recovery following a double hernia operation and this will force him to miss most of the pre-season irrespective of a move.
