Atletico Madrid agree deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur star
Atletico Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to secure the signature of Kieran Trippier this summer.
The England international has been a regular starter for the north London side in the past few seasons but he was criticised last term for the drastic dip in form.
Amidst this, the right-back acknowledged that he may not remain with the Capital outfit for the remaining three years of his contract and he is now expected to part ways with the side.
According to BBC Sport, the former Burnley man is set to make the move to the Spanish La Liga with Atletico Madrid agreeing on a £20m fee for his services.
The Madrid giants have been active in terms of their purchases during the summer and they have already made the headline signing with Joao Felix joining them for a club-record £113m.
Aside from them, they have also reinforced the defensive department ahead of next season with Felipe and Renan Lodi joining from Porto and Atletico Paranaense respectively.
