Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has hinted that his side could yet finalise a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Earlier last month, the Frenchman indicated that he would prefer a fresh challenge away from Old Trafford and reports have since linked him with a move to the 13-time European champions.

Los Blancos are yet to make any formal approach to sign the midfielder but speaking in a press conference, Zidane has acknowledged that there could be the possibility of a few more signings before the transfer deadline next month.

"We need to respect everybody, but the only thing I can say from the club is we know what we want to do. Something could happen before the end of August. We could have some changes," he was quoted as saying by ESPN.

The Red Devils have placed a £170m price tag on the head of Pogba and that has seemingly put Los Blancos off from making a move at the present period of time.

Still, there remains the chance of a deal going through in the next few weeks, provided the Capital outfit are able to accumulate sufficient funds from player sales.

Isco, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Marcelo and Mariano Diaz are some of the high-profile players, who have been tipped to head out of the Bernabeu in the near future.
