Everton to step up interest in Wilfried Zaha
Everton are reportedly prepared to step up their interest in signing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, who is also on the radar of Arsenal.
The Ivorian has already been the subject of a £40m bid from the Gunners this summer, but Palace have indicated that they are unlikely to accept anything less than £80m for the winger.
Amidst this, a fresh report from Sky Sports News suggests that the Toffees are planning talks over a big-money move for Zaha, though the player does not hold the preference to join the side.
Zaha has been eager to make the switch to the Gunners during this summer's transfer window but a deal appears unlikely with the north London side reluctant to match the asking price.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere suggest that the attacker could be prepared to delay his departure for another 12 months in the hope that the Gunners will be able to finalise a deal with Palace next summer.
