Wolves to sign Sami Khedira?
Wolves are chasing Juventus' midfielder Sami Khedira on a reported 15 million euro transfer move. The German international, who won the World Cup in Brazil in 2012, is reportedly ready to move to England in search of regular first-team football.
The 32-year-old has a deal with the Turin side until 2021 and has been informed by newly appointed manager Maurizio Sarri that he is free to leave the club.
The former Real Madrid star, who has been with Juventus since 2015, is seeking regular first-team football after the arrival of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal.
Last season Khedira played in just 10 Serie A games, scoring two goals, and was mainly restricted to a bit part role at the club due to the emergence of Emre Can.
It is understood that Khedira is frustrated with a lack of game time at Juve and has instructed his agent to find him a new club prior to the end of the transfer window, with also reported interest from China and also in his homeland Germany, with Werder Bremen and former club VfB Stuttgart interested.
