Moise Kean turns down Arsenal in favour of Everton
Juventus forward Moise Kean has reportedly rejected an approach from Arsenal to join Everton during this summer's transfer window.
The teenager is currently on the cusp of a £36m move to the Toffees, but things could have been quite different, had he accepted the proposal from the north London giants.
According to The Mail, the Gunners are understood to have made a late attempt to lure the 19-year-old to the Emirates, but the striker turned down their advances knowing that he has no assurances of regular first-team football.
Kean, who is a three-time Italy international, is expected to join the Toffees in the forthcoming days and he could find himself leading the line when the club face Crystal Palace in the Premier League opener.
Elsewhere, the Toffees are still on the search for a new central defender after failing in their approach to sign Kurt Zouma on a permanent basis from Chelsea this summer.
