Arsenal lining up double swoop from Italian champions
Arsenal are reportedly looking to land the services of defender Daniele Rugani and midfielder Sami Khedira from Juventus before the transfer window closes.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are assessing the positions of Laurent Koscielny and Shkoran Mustafi, who have been linked with a potential exits and this has switched their focus towards signing Rugani.
The same publication claims that the club would prefer to land the centre-back on a two-year loan while they are also aiming to pursue Khedira from the Bianconeri on a cut-price deal before next month's transfer deadline.
Arsenal have signed three players in Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba this summer, but they are expected to announce the club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe from Lille in the next few hours.
Elsewhere, they are in advanced negotiations with Celtic for left-back Kieran Tierney and reports have claimed that they could seal a transfer agreement with a third offer likely to meet the Hoops' £25m price tag.
