Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hit out at the early transfer window closure, insisting that he has yet to have finished his business and that the club miss out on an additional three weeks of activity in comparison to European rivals. United are still chasing Harry Maguire and Paulo Dybala.

When asked about the transfer window, the Norwegian coach admitted that talks were still moving for players and that he hoped to wrap up a few transfer deals before the window slams shut.

Solskjaer has been chasing Harry Maguire for over two months and there are rumours that a transfer fee has been agreed with Leicester City to bring the centre-back to Old Trafford.

“We’re looking good,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports News. “Of course we’ve been working on a few cases over the summer. It’s never easy.

“The club has been very good and the market is very hard.

“We’re trying to get to the start of the season with the squad that we want."

United are also attempting a swap deal between Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
