Chelsea keen to offload French midfielder this summer
Chelsea are reportedly in discussions with Turkish side Galatasaray regarding a season-long loan deal for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Bakayoko, 24, has struggled to make himself a regular with the Blues since his move from Monaco in 2017, and he spent the previous campaign on loan with AC Milan.
According to Evening Standard, Blues boss Frank Lampard has not been impressed with the midfielder's performance during pre-season and he has opened the door for the Frenchman to part ways with the club.
However, it appears that there are no clubs willing to meet the asking price and Bakayoko could instead be loaned out for the 2019/2020 campaign with Galatasaray interested.
The Blues are currently having 19 non-homegrown players in their squad and they need to reduce the number by at least two in order to meet the maximum quota of 17.
Aside from Bakayoko, Davide Zappacosta and Kenneth Omeruo have been fancied to head through the exit door before the close of the summer transfer window.
