Inter Milan confident of signing Romelu Lukaku
Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly confident of landing the signature of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United with an improved third offer of £70m.
The Belgium international is currently training with former club Anderlecht in Belgium and reports have recently indicated that the striker is expected to part ways with the Red Devils.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are growing confident of agreeing a move for the former Everton man with his representative holding a fresh round of discussions with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
The Mancunian giants have already turned down bids of £54m and £68m respectively for the Belgian, but it is reported that a fresh offer of around £70m could be sufficient to do business with the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that United could move for the services of Juventus' Mario Mandzukic before Thursday's transfer deadline with Solskjaer wanting a replacement for Lukaku.
Juventus are understood to want a fee of around £15m for the Croatian striker.
