Predicted Man Utd XI to face Wolves

Manchester United have the opportunity to potentially go to the top of the table when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road tonight.

The Red Devils had a tough time against the west Midlands side last season with one draw and two defeats from the three meetings but they will be aiming for a winning outcome this time around with the defence in a much better shape.

Predicted Lineup:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no reason to change the options in the backline and it should remain the same from the recent encounter against Chelsea. David de Gea should feature in goal with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw making up the defence.

In the midfield, Scott McTominay is certain to occupy the holding role and ahead of him, both Paul Pogba and Andreas Pereira could feature. Pereira started in the number 10 position last time around but Solskjaer may field him in a deeper position to counter the threat from Ruben Neves, who is key to Wolves' penetration in the opposition half.

In the attack front, the same personnel should feature. Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard should slot into the wider attacking roles with Anthony Martial leading the line.
