Manchester United to swoop for England striker?
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen on recruiting the services of Callum Wilson from Bournemouth this winter.
The 27-year-old has become a vital figure for the Cherries after overcoming his regular injury concerns and he has made 26 goalscoring contributions since the start of the previous season.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer is keen to continue with the trend of pursuing young and hungry British players and Wilson has emerged as a potential target for the winter transfer window.
United currently have Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as the only senior striking options following the departure of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan - the latter on a season-long loan.
Martial has been sidelined for the past few weeks with a thigh problem and this has practically left Solskjaer with just Marcus Rashford to depend upon for the centre-forward duties.
United graduate Mason Greenwood has been regularly talked up for a starting role but so far, Solskjaer has resisted the temptation of utilising the teenager from the beginning.
