Arsenal defender set to make injury comeback against Eintracht Frankfurt
Arsenal defender Rob Holding is expected to be named in the matchday squad for the forthcoming Europa League encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt on the road.
The young Englishman has not featured in the Gunners setup since his serious knee injury against Manchester United at Old Trafford in December last year but he is now on the cusp of making a comeback.
According to The Mail, Holding is set to make a much-awaited return to the matchday squad when the north London side travel to Germany to take on Eintracht Frankfurt.
It is still unclear whether manager Unai Emery may offer him with the starting role but that could happen sooner rather than later, considering Sokratis and David Luiz have looked vulnerable at the heart of the defence.
Emery has Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi in reserve for the central defensive position and the duo could be handed with the chance against Frankfurt, should Emery opt for a change.
