Arsenal decide on Mesut Ozils future

Ozil set to be loaned out in January?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to part ways with Mesut Ozil on a temporary basis when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The German has been out-of-favour under manager Unai Emery this term and he has managed just one appearance across all competitions to date.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners are keen to offload Ozil from their ranks and they are prepared to accept a temporary deal for his services in January.

Ozil is currently the club's highest earner at £350,000-a-week and it is claimed that the Gunners want to reduce their wage bill with the midfielder regarded as a bit-part player.

The 30-year-old is unlikely to make the starting XI for tomorrow's Premier League clash at Manchester United and it remains to be seen whether Emery chooses him in the matchday squad.

The north London giants are currently on 11 points after the opening six games and they can propel into the top four with at least a draw against the Red Devils.
