Manchester United enter the race to sign young Real Madrid star?
Manchester United have reportedly identified Martin Odegaard as a potential candidate to strengthen the attacking midfield department in the future.
The 20-year-old has been with Real Madrid since the summer of 2015 but he has not been able to make the breakthrough with the vast competition ahead of him.
For the current season, he has been loaned out to Real Sociedad, where he has made a quick impression with two goals and two assists in the Spanish La Liga.
According to The Sun, United are keen on continuing with the recent trend of pursuing young players and Odegaard has caught their attention following his promising form with Sociedad.
Of late, Los Blancos have been touted to recall the Norwegian from the Basque Country at the turn of the year but it is unclear whether he has a future under Zinedine Zidane.
Aside from United, Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the former Stromsgodset man and they are keen on signing him on a temporary basis when the transfer window reopens.
